Farm environments are hard on kit. Pneumonitor is built to cope with moisture, dirt and constant activity, so monitoring happens where the animals are rather than somewhere convenient for the installer.

Conditions at the door are not the conditions livestock breathe. Mount it in the microclimate they live in, so the readings match the air in front of the animal, not the air in the aisle.

Cold mornings, damp bedding and wet weather are normal. The device is designed to keep performing through that, so you still get usable data when the shed is at its worst.
